Wolverine has had several movies centered around his character, but a notable one is "The Wolverine," which follows Logan's journey to Japan. After the events of "X-Men: The Last Stand," Logan is haunted by the death of Jean Grey and living a solitary life. He is found by Yukio, a mutant with precognitive abilities, who brings him to Japan at the request of an old acquaintance, Yashida, whom Logan had saved during World War II.
Yashida, now a wealthy and dying man, offers Logan a chance to transfer his healing abilities to him, allowing Logan to finally become mortal and find peace. Logan refuses, and chaos ensues as Yashida's family vies for control of his empire, leading to battles against ninjas, the Yakuza, and a formidable adversary known as the Silver Samurai.
Throughout the movie, Logan faces his inner turmoil, dealing with his immortality and the ghosts of his past, while forming a bond with Mariko, Yashida's granddaughter. In the end, Logan chooses to embrace who he is and saves Mariko from the clutches of his enemies, finding a sense of closure and acceptance as he leaves Japan.
